You agree to use DraftSentry only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the right to process any documents you upload.
2. Permitted use
You may use DraftSentry to review your own writing, check text you have rights to analyze, and improve the originality and clarity of your work.
3. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload documents without permission from the rights holder
- Use DraftSentry to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights
- Use DraftSentry to facilitate academic misconduct
- Misrepresent authorship or claim another person's work as your own
- Use the AI Humanizer to evade academic integrity rules or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data or exceed usage limits
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious files
- Attempt to bypass fair-use limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Use DraftSentry to harass, threaten, or defame others
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or fraudulent
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
4. Similarity and AI results
DraftSentry provides similarity estimates and probabilistic AI-detection results. Results do not prove plagiarism, misconduct, or AI authorship. You agree not to present DraftSentry results as definitive proof of plagiarism, originality, or AI authorship.
5. Reporting misuse
If you believe another user is violating this policy, you can report it through our Help page. Include the category "Bug report" or "General" and describe the misuse in the description field. Do not include private document content in your report.
6. Enforcement
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for users who violate this policy. We may update this policy as needed to protect the service and its users.
